1958 Chevrolet 3100 Apache 1/2 ton shortbed

1958 Chevrolet 3100 apache 1/2 ton shorbed. 1972 model 250 6 cylinder w/power steering. Truck has had the front end subframed with a 70's model truck front end and they did a nice job. 5 lug front end with a later model 6 lug 12 bolt rearend. Looks like original 3 speed with floor shifter. Cadillac tilt/telescopic steering column with ignition switch. Still has original floor starter. Rebuilt the carburetor ($180.00) and rebuilt the starter ($98.00). Motor starts right up and sounds good. Looks and runs like it's been rebuilt. (ran on bottle) Tank will need to be pulled and cleaned. Bled the brakes and the pedal came up. Back down after a few weeks. Too many projects and not enough time. Cab corners and door bottoms have mud in them. Left front fender needs to be replaced. Bottom of Right front fender and floors are solid. (one patch on passenger side) Rockers and roof are good. Metal floor over original wood bed that's still in the truck. 1953 and older rear bumper. Bought this truck locally and have a clear, transferrable Tn title. Truck was last used regularly in 1998. Would make a great shop truck or good start on a restoration.
