Description

1965 Valiant AP6 sedan 'Barn find' from the NSW Central West.90,160 miles showing.
Last registration expired march 1993. Spent nearly half its life stored in a shed.
It is an early build AP6 and is a rare automatic base model with factory fitted heater.
Motor is the 225 cubic inch Slant 6 "Leaning Tower of Power".
Gearbox is the 3 speed Torqueflite auto.
Interior pretty good for its age, perfect dashpad, seats look to have been retrimmed at some stage, door trims have some tears.
Car is not running as the inlet /exhaust manifold is not bolted up. Motor turns freely.
Body has some minor dents and a little rust in a few spots.Worst rust is shown - the drivers side door jamb and lower right rear quarter panel.
Stainless steel trims all good.
Paintwork mostly original (ie: 50 years old)
It needs a new fuel tank (rusty) and brake lines hooked up to the original master cylinder as it did have a V8 brake booster fitted.
The headlight trim rings were also missing when I got the car.
It would suit a fix up and put back on the road ,or a full restoration if you are keen.
Car is at Penrith NSW ,1 hour west of Sydney.
Cash on pickup or bank transfer.
For sale elsewhere so auction may end anytime.
