1970 VG Valiant Regal Sedan
245 4.0 Litre Hemi, Automatic, Deep Chartreuse Metallic, Tan Parchment Interior, Cream Vinyl Roof.
The car is a Regal sedan in Deep Chartreuse Metallic (green) and Tan interior with a Cream Vinyl roof. I have owned the car since 2010 and it had a restoration before I purchased it. The car has been in storage for just over a year and does not have current rego or RWC. It is not a show car but a great cruiser and always receives plenty of compliments.
Exterior:
The car has been resprayed in the original colour approximately 5 years ago and is still in very good condition. The bonnet has some crazing and there is some minor rust bubbles and one worse item in the right rear door (as seen in the photos). Unfortunately someone tried to break into the car at some point and has scratched the paint on the drivers side B pillar (see photos).
Interior:
The seats have been re-trimmed in the original tan parchment and are in perfect condition. The door trims and arm rests are in used condition and are fine but not as good as the seats. The carpet is in near perfect condition.
Engine and Transmission:
The engine and transmission are not the original but it has a 245 Hemi and 3 Speed Automatic (BW35) Transmission. It has the standard 2 Barrel Carburettor and standard exhaust. The engine and transmission run smoothly.
The Bad:
The rear shocks need replacing and due to the car being in storage I would recommend servicing the brakes or towing the vehicle but I am no mechanic.
Inspections and Questions are welcome. Please be advised the vehicle can be removed at anytime as advertised elsewhere.
The car is located in Fitzroy Victoria.
I will assist with transport at buyers expense.
