O.K. folks! This is a chance to own a really rare car. Up for sale is two identical 1933 Desoto Cabriolets. I've owned these two cars for several years. My intentions were to restore one and street rod the other. I waited too long and now am too old and my health is failing. I will try to explain the condition of each one. I will refer to them as #1 and #2. The #1 is almost finished. The body is on the frame and the chassis is finished. The body is on the frame and the chassis is is finished with new brakes and the rare wooden wheels and new tires. The upholstery and the top is new. All chrome is done. All chrome work was done by Pauls Chrome Plating of Pennsylvania. The engine was completely done by a professional engine builder. Both #1 and #2 cars came from the factory fully loaded. 6 wooden wheels with side mounted fenders. The wheels are the large 15 inch by 6 inches wide. Also with a rumble seat and luggage rack. #1 is solid with never any rust. The #2 car is completely taken apart. The body has some rust but very complete and repairable. The only part I know of is missing is a door. If you have any further questions or need any extra pictures, please let me know. These cabriolets are very rare. I only know of one other in Texas.
