Description

No Reserve
This car was imported from Italy in the mid-80s by John Scotti, a Pantera specialist in Montreal. It has been completely restored and upgraded to GT5. The car was sold in 1987 with 47200 kms and than resold in 1989 with 49000 to a gentleman who for the last 26 years has used the car to go to and back from autoshows that he participated in. The car now has 54750 kms (34020 miles).
In the year 2000, the engine was taken out to restore the engine compartment to show like quality ( $4500) and while the engine was out of the car a complete overall was completed. The rebuild included, new pistons, roller rockers, roller cam, revised heads, ceramic coated headers, aluminum intake, new carburator, side draft air cleaneraprx 450 hp ( $9000). The engine was reinstalled with dress up parts from Hall Pantera for a nice look. The ac was removed and an extra radiator was installed were the ac condensor was, (easilly converted back to ac if wanted. Removed ac parts come with car.),new radiator up front and new high flow water pump, so the engine never overheats. Transmission was painted base coat/ clear coat in silver.($2500). Oil change done with synthetic oil every springtime even when the car was not used. The car only drove 700 kms (400 miles) since it was evaluated in 2006.
The seats were redone with a Hall Pantera Kit.
The car was always stored inside never parked outside. The car never saw rain since 1989 and was never washed with water. (only use showroom cream to wash it.)
The engine bay tub was never used since 1989 and is in great shape. There are a lot of invoices that come with the car. (mostly in french)
Now for the negative.
The only issue is that the tires, which still have good tread, need to be replaced due to age. The ex owner never changed them because he only used the car for shows. They are Pirrelli P7 This car is advertised locally so we reserve the right to end this auction early. An Ebay member sent me this info about the car. Dear fscotti0811,

Hi, I'm the person who always did all work on Denis car. When I removed the engine the total cost at the end of the project was around 30K. There is also a fully polished show gas tank. The engine was built by Rudolph Nadeau. Big bore headers from Hall.

I hope it will find a good home. This car has been babied to the max while in Denis possesion.

Good luck with sale.- godabitibi
