2001 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor

With this car, what you see is what you get. I recently won it at auction from a municipality in New Jersey, where it served as you see it and according to the agency comes as it currently appears. I planned to donate it to the volunteer ambulance service I am a part of, but unfortunately our budget doesn't currently allow for another car. According to the agency, the car starts and runs with a boost and no deficits are reported, but I have not yet seen it in person so cannot guarantee anything and should you be lucky enough to win her, you will be picking her up from there directly. The car is a 2001 with 147k miles (hardly anything for these cars, as you probably know). It does have some rust visible in the photos (mainly the driver's side fender), but a replacement white one from a junkyard is a $40-$70 part and a relatively easy swap on and off. If you like the car as she looks now then you can surely have the decalsreplicated on the new fender, and if not, you're one step closer to having the currentdecals off. Beyond that and some light rust by the rear wheelwell, the only apparent cosmetic deficiency is some peeling paint (common on white Crown Victorias of this era) but I'd recommend either some vinyl or Plastidip to address it (or have it painted, up to you). The wheels look to be in good shape for their age, and the tires seem to be fairly new. Emergency equipment is as you see it, with a Federal Signal vector and LED traffic advisor up top, two radios in the console, a Federal Signal PA300 siren, traffic advisor controller, mirror strobes, and presumably hideaway strobes in the front and tail lights. It goes without saying, but obviously if you purchase this vehicle you should know the laws pertaining to this equipment in your state and whether you would need to remove it to make the car street legal. Obviously, these are not toys (except for at car shows) and they are not to be abused.
The possibilities for this car are endless: decommission it and have a nice 2001 Crown Victoria, keep it as it is, swap the blue lenses for red and change the decals to an NYPD tribute car, this car is your automotive collectable canvas.
Once again, the car is as-is, where-is but paperwork is clean and clear. If it doesn't sell here, I know I'll have a lot of fun with it.
