PLEASE READ: I you have zero feedback please message me before bidding or at least at the same time. I have declined a few acceptable offers from zero feedback bidders that have ignored my messages to them. If I accept an offer less than the buy-it-now price I will need to know specifics regarding delivery, payment method, and time of payment. These factors will influence my bottom dollar. I will not end the ad unless I know the offer is real. I have no desire to accept an offer and wait a week to hear from the bidder who is likely to back out. What I've got for sale:
1977 ford f150 4x4 short wheelbase
460 engine
Automatic transmission
Odometer shows 53,000 miles (increasing daily). I have no idea if they are original, I doubt it though.
Duel fuel tanks that DO WORK
This truck is what I would call a survivor with a paint job, not a restoration. I bought this truck about a year ago in Oregon. Now I am looking for a new toy so here is your chance to own it. It is my daily driver and I trust it completely. Everything on the truck works. It gets about 10 mpg on the highway and is cold natured. It drives straight and the steering is tight, no slack at all. The rear main seal is leaking. The transmission and 4x4 operate perfectly. It has airbag overloads on the rear axle, I haven't hauled anything with it but they allow you to level the truck. I can't say for sure, but I think it has aftermarket coil springs on the front. the springs are red and the truck nose doesn't point down like they did from the factory. Tires are like new (10k on them), they are 31x10.50xR15's. Two of the pictures show the truck with the 33x12.5xR15's it had when I bought it. I think it looked better with them, but the current tires are pretty quiet and the speedometer reads correct with them. With a set of wheels and possibly a prettier back bumper you could have areal head turner. Otherwise, this truck is an excellent candidate forrestoration.
recent repairs (done in last 6 months):
new fuel pump
new dimmer switch
new water pump
new alternator
new starter and solenoid
new u joint (next to rear diff)
new u joint (next to front diff)
I am open to trades. I am looking for a 97+ Jeep Wrangler, 97+ Jeep Cherokee, Volkswagen TDI, or Jeep Liberty CRD. Feel free to offer something different, worst i can do is say no. The tires on the truck are worth $400 to me, if i trade for a jeep of some sort I might knock $400 off the price and keep my tires if that interests you.
I can deliver the truck for cost as long as i can get there and fly back during the weekend. Payment for the truck and delivery will have to be made prior to delivery. If I do deliver the truck the cost of delivery and 500$ of the purchase price is non-refundable if you refuse to accept the truck. So bid seriously please.
If you pick the truck up here I require a 250$ non-refundable deposit via wire transfer or cash within 5 days of the listing end. Please ask questions and inspect the truck in person if possible before bidding. I don't want to keep your deposit for backing out, I want to sell the truck. The balance of the price is to be paid at pick up or no later than 20 days from the listing end.
I will accommodate commercial shipping if you choose to go that route. Ican deliver to a shipping terminal within a reasonable distance. You will need to make all arrangementsyourself though. If you have it shipped I must have full payment inhand before I let it leave. The sale will be final once the truck ishanded over to the shipping company.
