Description
Ford Focus LX 1.8 TDDI Estate for sale.
Reason for sale is that it is surplus to requirements as now provided with company car.
I purchased the car in August 2013 with 97,700 miles on the clock. It is now showing 120,046 miles and has a valid MOT until 22nd September 2016.
The car was in regular use until earlier this year with a company car taking its place in daily duties. This means I now have to reluctantly sell what I consider to be a very reliable and practical car, which if I had the choice would have continued to use daily.
The car has been regularly serviced, including oil and filter changes every 6,000 miles.
Notable work done to the car:
2013:
- Timing and Aux Belts with tensioners replaced @ 97,744 miles
- Track Rod End replaced, tracking reset
- New tyres, Falken ZE914
2014:
- Battery Replaced
- Rear inner wheel arches repaired (common rust issue on the Focus, normally hidden by the carpet wheel arch liner until its beyond salvage!)
- New brake pipes to rear
2015:
- Reconditioned front nearside brake caliper
- New brake pipes to front
- New front discs and pads
Otherwise the car is mechanically sound, proven to be fantastically reliable and extremely versatile given its relative size yet boasting a large practical boot!
As stated earlier, if it was not for having a company car I would continue to use this as my daily driver. This makes it a reluctant sale because I know how good this car has proven to be.
