Description

Hi,this is the very regrettable sale of my much loved Focus RS - only selling due to buying a house.
She is number 154 -
I have traced her history all the way back to new. I have masses of history - every MOT, every bit of info the DVLA plus the info from Ford (I'm a development engineer at Ford and have access to all the databases.)
11 months MOT.
Mods and work done in the last 18 months:
Engine:
Original Ford tubular manifold (this was the original one RFord was going to use before swapping to the log style)
Forge Recirc valve
Forge actuator
K&N Gen 2 induction
Decat Miltek system with custom 3 1/2" rolled tip
Airtec 100mm Chargecooler rad
Full Samco hoses in blue including intake, with orange heater hoses (were on the car and couldn't be bothered to change to blue )
Bluefin map - no handset
Power flex charge cooler bushes
Chargecooler replaced with newer item from lower milage car.
Powerflex exhaust hangers
Custom slam panel heat shield
Carbon fibre turbo heat shield
New battery
Chassis:
12.5mm Spacers
H&R Springs - 20mm
Brand new genuine front shocks - less than 300 miles with original decals (very important)
Front and rear subframe complete nut and bolt rebuild with Powerflex buses on everything
powder coated or painted everything
refurbed rear shocks
Refurbed Brembos
Refurbed rear brakes
Mintex pads
EBC drilled and grooved front disks / standard rears
Good ridge Braided front hoses & New standard rear hoses
Complete underside resto with several coats of waxoyl
Brand new genuine N/S/R wheel bearing

Exterior:
Front lower slpitter
Wheels refurbed in awesome shadow chrome/ anthracite
Telefonica Movistar rear spoiler splitter (can be easily removed)
Colour coded handles
Colour coded spray style screen washers
Carbon fibre rear lower diffuser
Newly refurbed slampanel
newly refurbed crash bar
Interior:
New alcantara and leather steering wheel
Scanguage mounted in custom dash where the cointray was
Water temp a pillar gauge
Genuine RS Mats - Matching Sparco mats used day to day
Mk2 focus interior light with red submarine lighting
Variable speed wiper stalk from Ghia
Alarm restored and now fully working

I have 2 keys plus 2 alarm fobs. The car comes with a wallet full of receipts etc. >>
Downsides (because no car is perfect)
Front bumper and rear quarters have usual stone chips
Bubbles of rust in the usual MK1 focus locations, O/S/R rear quarter where it meets the bumper, under the wing mirrors (not noticeable) and near the boot handle and a few small areas in the wheel arch.
The sill has been crushed in a few places from previous people jacking the car incorrectly. - not a problem.
Service book was lost by a previous owner so I have started a new one.
I'm sure there are many things I have missed. >> She is probably at about 280 - 300 bhp (not got around to a dyno run yet). I feel this power is perfect for this car.
I am not after swaps or P/X or silly offers.
