Description

1930 Model "A" Depot Hack/Woody. This car was my father's pride & joy, having it restored and doing some of the small jobs himself. He died and the task of selling it has fallen to me. I don't know a whole lot about Model As but I know my father put a lot of time, effort, and money into this car.
Some of the items I know about that he did most recently include the motor, which was completely rebuilt and balanced by a motor shop in Toronto. The rear end was also done around the same time because a tooth on the old crown gear broke so he replaced the gears & bearings at the same time. The transmission seems OK but it is a little clunky going into 2nd (or this may be just my inexperience in driving it).
Things included in the restoration include (a thorough/detailed list is available with approximate prices):
tires & tubes muffler brakes radiator wire harness hub caps steering box (rebuilt) generator (rebuilt) starter motor (rebuilt) The car was appraised in 2003 with an estimated value of $23,000 - $24,000 and I assume that the value of the car has appreciated since that time.
I have a letter from Ford Motor Company stating that the car was made in Canada so there will be NO DUTY applied if the car is exported to the United States.
I have a reliable auto transporter who can ship and take care of all of the export paperwork if the car is exported from Canada and this service is required. The cost associated with shipping/export are extra and payable by the purchaser.
If you you need to see the detailed list of work done or the appraisal, a pdf can be forwarded on request by e-mail. If you have any questions, you can either e-mail or phone.
Thanks for looking!
