1968 Ford Mustang Fastback

You are bidding on a 1968 Mustang Fastback. I'd first like to start off by saying that this is NOT a restoration project as all of the expensive body/paint/engine work is done. This is however an assembly project as most panels are only loosely fitted. The engine and transmission will need to be installed as well. You will not find a more solid Mustang Fastback on this site at this price.
Body:
The Fastback body was completely media blasted to bear metal where all old paint and any rust was removed. The car has new full length quarter panels, radiator support, deck lid, and hood. The car was originally a butter nut yellow however it is now painted in a base coat/clear coat Chrysler "Torch Red" with pearl white painted on Shelby stripes. Only the best paint materials were used (paint, hardener, clear coat, etc.) The paint will need final cut and buff after finally assembly. The floors, torque boxes, frame rails, and rockers both inside and out are completely solid. I will be adding pictures of the underside shortly. I have a new body bolt kit which is bagged and labeled from NPD also included.
Drive train:
Engine
The Fastback comes with a completely rebuilt zero mile date correct 1968 289ci V8. The 289 was professionally redone at a local reputable machine shop. Cylinders bored .30 over. All internals in the 289 are new including flat top pistons, crankshaft, all bearings, Edelbrock performer camshaft, timing chain/gears. The cylinder heads are also completely redone including valve job and additional shaving for higher compression. The engine is topped with an Edelbrock performer intake manifold and Holley 600 CFM carburetor.
Transmission:
The car will be sold with a correct C4 automatic transmission that is in good condition
Interior:
All standard fastback interior is included minus the front door cards, headliner, and carpet which are readily available at many online retailers. The seats will need to be recovered as can be seen in pics. The rear seat is the optional fold down style. I have all stainless trim as well which is included in the sale. All glass is included except the windshield.
Tires/Wheels:
The car is sold with the slotted chrome wheels (first picture/drivers side) which i believe to be a factory aftermarket option. The wheels pictured on the passenger side are NOT included in the auction.
I have tried to describe the vehicle condition to the best of my ability. The vehicle will be sold as-is where is with no warranties implied. I encourage an in person inspection by appointment only. Payment:
Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auctions end to arrange payment. A $500 deposit non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end. Due to the endless amount of scammers pay pal will not be accepted.
Shipping arrangement and costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
