Description

1965 Ford Mustang Convertible 289 2V Automatic PS, White Power Top, Deluxe Interior with full console. Mileage unknown, odometer shows 11,767 but I'm sure it's rolled over at least once.True barn find. Car hasn't been licensed or driven since 1978. Sold new in Southern California and was brought to Illinois as the owner relocated for work. Driven one summer in Illinois and has been in dry storage ever since. Minor creases in both rear quarters. Body is immaculate. True rust free Southern California car. You'll save thousands on parts an labor as this one will require no sheetmetal replacement. Car is a "C" code car. Both inner fenders show it as an "A" code with the entire VIN matching the VIN on the door and title with the exception of the engine code. Title and door show it as a "C" code car. Car was bought from original owner who bought it new and never noticed the inner fenders not being stamped the same as the door and title. Engine has been sitting with ATF poured in the cylinders thru the spark plug holes since my family got the car in approximately 1988. We were able to get the car running after we purchased it and drove it around town once or twice but it's been in storage ever since. Only 2 families have ever owned this car. Needs full restoration. Sold As Is No returns, or warranties. Call or Text Shawn (309) 208-8835 for more info or questions. Leave message with best time to contact you as I work 3rd shift. $1000.00 down payment expected within 24 hours of end of auction. Rest is due in CASH at time of pick up. Local pick up only, I won't ship but I can assist with loading the car. Car does not run so you'll need a winch.
