Relisting due to buyer not paying.. for the 2nd time. Please make sure you want to buy the car before you bid!
For sale is a beautiful 1998 Mustang GT Convertible This is a VERY clean car with all the options - Leather interior, Rear Defrost, CD Player, Power Seats with lumbar support, air conditioning, power top, and automatic transmission. I am selling this car with because I don't have space to park it.
The Good: Overall this is a great little pony car clean, fast, and fun with lots of options, a real head-turner!!! This is a clean well cared for car does not leak a drop of oil, coolant, transmission fluid, etc. the AC is ice cold, heat is hot, and all gauges stay exactly in the middle of range. The car drives straight and smooth, and the rims and top are in like new condition.
Extra's include - custom paint (black accents on rocker panels and trunk over original green exterior) newer top that operates flawlessly and does not leak, goes up and down smoothly. The drivers seat had a rip in the bottom of it, so I had it recovered, and it looks like new. New cold air intake from American Muscle installed. Looks great and increases throttle response a bit. Also installed new serpentine belt and idler pulley about 200 miles ago.
The bad Not too much bad to say about this car, but there are a couple minor issues that I know of:
-The rear left window does not work it's probably the electric motor or maybe just the switch but can't say for sure.
-The power drivers seat sometimes requires a push while holding the switch to get it to move forward. It goes up and down just fine, but sliding it forward requires you to push on the seat.
-The tires will need to be replaced at some point to have a 100% perfect car. They are safe, and track pretty well, but are probably 75% worn.
Do keep in mind though, that this is a 16 year old car and does have a few very minor dings here and there, but nothing even worth noting specifically. This car is being sold with no warranty.
