Description
Ready for cruising, an award winning, head-turning 1934 Ford Cabriolet
Street Rod! Titled in Virginia as a 1934
Ford, this fiberglass body beauty has a current state safety inspection and is
raring to hit the road, top up, top down or totally topless! Only 4,000 miles on the car since it was
completed, all major components were installed new. Reliable Chevy 350 power built by Jon Barrett
Hot Rod engines, the 330 hp motor with Crane cam and single four barrel runs
nice on regular gas. Power is
transmitted through a TPI turbo-hydramatic transmission, Denny’s custom drive
shaft to a late model Mustang 8.8 inch differential. American Racing Torque Thrust II wheels all
around with 14’s in front, 15’s out back.
Front suspension duties are handled by a Fat Man Mustang II tubular
set-up with a manual rack and pinion.
Camaro discs in front with Mustang drums in the rear, adjusted by a
Jeg’s proportioning valve and fluid pushed by a Corvette master cylinder
provides stopping power. Juliano’s three
point seat belts keep you secure in the comfortable interior with fully
adjustable bucket seats with lumbar support, clad in Adobe Ultra leather all
around. Lecarra leather-wrapped banjo
steering wheel on a Flaming River tilt column. Rod Tech instrument cluster and
glove box door. Old time “Ah-ooo-gah”
horn. Listen to the Panasonic stereo with
CD through Infinity speakers, or revel in the sound of the dual exhaust that
exits through glass packs and chrome extensions in front of the rear
wheels. Trunk is fully upholstered to
match the interior. Professional
appraiser graded the car “Fine” overall
with an “Excellent” interior, a “Very nice creation” and “A very drivable
car”. I’m on to my next project,
building an airplane, and need to make room in the garage. All construction manuals and component manuals included. Over $42K in receipts!
