Description

1949 F5 Flatbed Dump. U.S. Government Truck. 45,106 ORIGINAL miles! Original paint/patina is gorgeous and perfect for parade, business, work or show. Post-war American muscle at it's best. Heavy duty 2-speed axle is for better power AND speed.
The big flat-head six has tons of torque. Starts and runs extremely smooth and well tuned (new plugs, wires, battery, etc). The all-original engine works like a Timex watch. The PTO and dump hoist work excellent. The bed does need new wood. The tires have great tread but have some checking from age. The cab is very nice with original gauges and knobs. The seat is deluxe 2-tone with cloth, but does have some tears. The windows and glass are excellent and roll up and down very smooth and easy. Overall this is a very nice vehicle. BIG TRUCK mirrors give a commanding view of the road!
MONTANA TITLE IN HAND!
Please see photos for condition. Overall the truck is in excellent condition. Some wear and tear, dents and dings as one would expect on a 65 year-old vehicle.
This was originally a U.S. Forest Service Department of Agriculture truck.
