1969 HT Monaro

History of vehicle is that the body ID plate was V8 GTS#130 manufactured at the Pagewood Sydney plant. Trim code reveals Daytona Bronze (1193), interior was Sandalwood vynyl in Monaro design (18x), Engine serial number (30718027) is correct for this vehicle. This vehicle was fitted with power steering which makes it rare on a GTS as explained to me it possibly was a dealer demonstrator as it pre-dates GTS 350 production. The pump has since been removed but the ram and hoses are still there. This vehicle featured in 'Aussie Muscle Enthusiast' front cover and centrefold issue no.42. Over many years i have looked at HK,HT and HG's and none have come close to this beautiful resoration. The body work and interior are immaculate. Motor and diff are still getting run in. Please remember this is a 46 year old vehicle and even when it was built it wouldnt of come out the factory as good as this. Although there are some things like battery terminals, electronic distributor and motor had to be built to take unleaded petrol.unfortunetly you have to change a couple of things to make them reliable as i have done. It has been professionally lowered by 2 inches but original springs come with the vehicle and can be put back in as i have all parts. This is a registered vehicle in Victoria and it will come with a roadworthy for a Victorian buyer. Please note plates on vehicle now are not for sale with car. I will purchase standard Vicroad plates for new owner. Potential buyer dont think you can drive it down the street and be back in time as it usually takes hours because of memories people have of these vehicles and particulary the beautiful daytona bronze.
