chevrolet 1937 coupe ute australian built

1937 chev. all steel body. roadster doors from factory stamped on tags. first won off production line. 350 010 block. turbo 700 auto.9 inch diff 31 spline axles.lsd.3.5 ratio.4 link. coil overs. everything is new underneath. petrol tank, fuel lines, brake lines, hand brake cables, speedo cable, commodore rear disc brakes and stud pattern all round. big brakes on front. stops on a dime. new comm booster and master cylinder. new desert cooler radiator and thermo fan. new b/m transcooler and thermofan. everything on engine is new.crs 2''inch drop spindles and crs rack + pinion. new b/m 4 speed shifter with oil and temp gauges. new 18'' boyd cottington wheels. new custom hpc coated extractors with twin exhaust. all genuine hardware rechromed. runningboards came from the states. new glass. blinkers in headlights. hk front end all new. ppg 2k paint red underneath still have 10 litres to finish outside. I was going to finish outside 2 tone red/cream. I have had it on the road for 2 years. its never let me down. I could get in this car and drive to qld with no worries. this car drives and stops beautiful.not like an old car. this is not a race car its cruiser. new loom.all gauges work,blinkers, brakes, speedo, high beam,the only thing I can pick on is fuel gauge. will be fixed before it goes.sender needs adjusting. steering is light the wife can drive this. this car is so easy to drive anybody can drive it.i had a bloke from Werribee do all the metal work. tin west. look him up.a true gentlemen.old school.anything that went on this car was brand new or recoed. all steel no rust. battery is in esky. the hood ornerment snapped off at a car show. I had bonnet up very windy day.one side of bonnet hit and snapped ornament I still have it. the ute needs drivers side 1/4 vent window. paint and trim or leave it. this is body no 2 first one off the production line. I've tried not to drill any holes. the leaf spring brackets are still on chassis if somebody wants to go back to original. anything I have taken off this ute I still have.
