1948 Hudson Commodore Series

Up for auction, a beautiful 1948 Hudson Commodore Model 482 Super Six, in process restoration. This is a CA-AZ rust free original drive train car with 39210 actual miles, refinished in a laser straight PPG Champlain Green/Sorrel Green base coat clear. All chrome work and interior woodgrain components have been refinished and all glass is good. A new (old stock) replacement steering wheel has been installed. All electrical components work except spot lights, which are non-functional. Entire vehicle has been professionally rewired and converted to a 12 volt negative ground system, except for the original radio, clock, and fuel gauge that function on 6 volts through a convertor. An aftermarket sound system has also been added. Seat covers are original, in excellent condition, and have not been cleaned. Frame and suspension components are rust free. Fuel tank was professionally cleaned and a new exhaust system installed. Oil pressure gauge has been added that reads 40 psi at idle. Car runs good, shifts good, drives straight and stops straight.
Work needed for completion: Install of headliner, door panels, rear window deck, and floor coverings. Lower stainless trim pieces shown in photos also need to be installed.
All items shown in photos pertaining to vehicle are included, as well as a spare wheel and tire, a car cover, assembly manuals, extra new and old parts, and all old interior panels that have been removed.
