Description
For Sale is my Hyundai Excel which is the Ex Autobarn Gympie Pioneer Display Sound Off Car. In place of the rear seats is a full custom fibreglass floor to ceiling Sub box which houses 6 Pioneer TSO309D4 12 inch Subwoofers, 3 Pioneer GMD7500M 2 Channel Mono Block Amps and 1 Pioneer GMD9500F 4 Channel Amp.
The original dash has been removed and a custom dash has been made which consists of Pioneer Head Unit DEH-2550UI that has USB and Ipod/Iphone connections. There are 2 sets of TS-D1720C speakers also that have been moulded into the dash. The dash also has 2 digital Drift gauges 1 temperature and 1 volts which keeps an eye on the power of the rear batteries. The Dual battery system in the rear are 2x 6 volt Amp-Tec deep cycle batteries that have been linked together to make 12 volts. They are 220 aH each.
Audio in this car is Amazing! As the car was only a display/show car db test was never done but would be up in the high 140 dB.
Aesthetic wise the sound off car has been resprayed Ford Blue with Pioneer decals. The door handles have been shaved and a pop button on the drivers side installed. The bonnet has been carbon fibre wrapped and the front and rear lights have been tinted. Throughout the car LED lights have been installed. Springs have been removed to make it low and look slammed.
Car mechanically is ok, it has had new oil, oil filter, fuel filter, thermostat and new fuel pump installed. Car needs to be run to charge the rear batteries. Head Gasket may have a leak or split as it spits a bit of water out of the exhaust when running.
This car would be great for someone to use as a hire party car/jukebox setup. Car needs to be trailered due to not being registered and no springs.
If you ever wanted to register the car you would need to have an original dash installed and mod plated as a 2 seater as the rear has been completely removed. Either that or setup would be great for someone who already has an Excel and could transfer it across to fit. I no longer have a use for it that is why I'm selling it.
