Description
Up for sale is my beloved 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. It has been my daily driver since 2006 and I
would never part with her except I now have a daughter and she no longer fits
with ease in the back seat so had to move to a “Daddy” Grand Cherokee. I will attempt to give you as much info as I
can so you have best knowledge as to what you are bidding on.
She has 136k miles. I am 2nd owner since 2006. She has a 1inch body lift installed, plus 2.5inch lift that comes with the Rubicon package (total lift 3.5inches) clears for oversized 33x12.5 Nitto Trail Grappler tires with approx. 30% tread on 15inch Pro-Comp wheels. Matching 5th wheel and tire are brand new. K&N Air filter. Hi-Lift jack mounted to hood. Rampage aftermarket soft top. New battery. Transmission was overhauled in 2007. Rear locker was replaced 2 years ago with Jasper-OEM locker, fully operational. Upgraded stereo with CD player, Polk Audio speakers overhead. Rancho RS7000 upgraded shocks and bushings about 6 yrs ago. A/C and heat work great.
Short list of issues:
· Rear window will need to be replaced due to heat fading. No other issues with soft-top.
· Minor scuffing on front passenger side bumper (see pics)
· Speedometer sometimes did not work last winter. So far no issues this winter. I don’t drive fast so I never got around to fixing it. Not sure issue.
· No carpet. I took it out because it is a Jeep and seemed silly. Very little leaking from Rampage top so if you want to replace you can easily.
· The usual bumps and bruises inside Jeep on dashboard (see pics), normal wear and tear.
· Passed MD inspection.
Has Viper alarm installed. The alarm horn no longer works. You can uninstall or keep. I haven't used alarm since I moved out of cities.
Overall she is in great condition. She was my baby and I treated her well. Passed MD inspection within last 8 months (which is stricter than most states). I lived mostly south so not that many winters. I only did minor off-roading as she was my only vehicle so no body damage. I just don’t drive her anymore, hopefully someone can buy her and turn her into the off-roading machine she should be!
