I'm sorry for those of you who previously bid on this item. I was trying to add more information but it kept failing so I no option but to end and relist. The vehicle is up of auction with no reserve and I won't end the auction early. The description is much more detailed now. I am doing this at 2:00am having worried about the fact that my description was incomplete
Land Rover Discovery 2. 4.0 litre V8 Thor engine. Zavoli multipoint LPG system which has recently been rebuilt with many new parts.
'Top Hat' / stepped liners in the engine.

Bad bits:
Odometer reads only in kilometres: The mileage shown in the photos is in Km which works out as roughtly a genuine 140,000 miles with documentary proof. This is a genuine UK registered car with a fault in the instrument panel. This fault has been there for just under 3 years.
The engine management light comes on.
The driver’s seat has the usual side-tear where the cloth gets pinched against the seat trim. They all do that eventually.
The Lacquer is peeling off in a couple of small areas. Hardly noticeable and it hasn’t got any worse in the time I’ve owned it.
The chassis is good and solid although it does have a small repair, please see photo.

A new MOT was issued today.
This is a genuine ‘face lift’ with stainless steel anti-theft devices over the headlamps.
7 seats, all with three-point seat belts and head-restraints.
. I have also retro-fitted an oil cooler which Land Rover decided to delete off the ‘face-lift’ Discoveries.
The gearbox works perfectly as does the transfer box.
Fully working air suspension.
Both sunroofs work and there are no leaks.
It comes with a whole load of receipts, two working keys and handbook. The central locking works perfectly, as does the immobiliser and alarm. It also has a set of genuine Land Rover rubber over-mats for the front and middle rows, a small hole being worn in the driver’s over-mat.
The interior rear view mirror is the automatic self dipping type with an inbuilt electronic compass which works perfectly.
The rear windows have a privacy tint.
It has a heated front windscreen.
The battery was changed only a few weeks ago under the no quibble warranty.
Reversing sensors which work brilliantly.
Please remember it is almost 14 years old and it has served for well over 3 years as our everyday family vehicle.
