Description
Land Rover Discovery 2 TD5 ES2.5 diesel engine with automatic gearbox
7 leather seats
Tow bar and electrics
Rubber covered side steps
New battery
new brakes all round disks, pads and calipers
starts first time
runs lovely and smooth, with plenty of power and no smoke
its been converted to rear springs instead of air bags at the rear
the front drivers and passengers door locks require replacing as they lock but don't open (around £70 each new) ( you can just use the key at the moment)
all the others work including the boot lock
drivers window doesn't work and requires a new regulator £37 new )
Glove box has been damaged, but still opens and closes
the digital heating system all works but the air con doesn't blow ice cold
the sunroofs have been sealed as usual
very minor drip of diesel from a pipe near the bulkhead
the 3 amigos appear every now and then due to the common ABS shuttle valve fault £95 fitted ( Hill descent, traction control, ABS)
the rear bumper corner is cracked and has tape on it
the odd mark and blemish here and there as you would expect form a used discovery
So there you have it, not perfect but not a shed either, a very reliable capable 4x4 with a tow bar and electrics and 7 seats ready to be used
I've done a 150 mile trip the other day and I still wouldn't hesitate to go anywhere in it
the engine is very strong and its still got sensible miles on it
