Very clean, low mileage 2005 Lotus Elise. This was the firstyear the Lotus Elise was available in US market and features unique items for2005 such as aluminum pedals and an actual throttle cable vs. the later driveby wire. Weighing approximately 1950lbs there is no modern car that comes closeto the pure driving experience the Elise offers all with modern amenities andsafety features like AC, airbags and ABS. The Elise features a Toyota 6 speedmanual transaxle and a Toyota 2ZZ 1.8l inline four engine that revs to anincredible 8,500 RPM.
The paint, a special hypermetallic ”lifestyle” color inGraphite Grey is in great condition. The interior is also in great conditionwith all working electronics including the AC. The car has the modificationslisted below to address common Elise weak points while improving upon the stocklook and feel. It features a clean bill of health with a cam inspectionperformed about a year ago. Wider Sector 111 Ethos wheels are mounted withContinental ExtremeContact Sport tires that measure 205/45 and 245/40respectively were installed last year. The front and rear brakes were serviced in January 2021 with turnedrotors and Carbone Lorraine RC5+ pads, and a brake fluid flush was performed.
With only 26k miles this Elise is ready to be enjoyed foryears to come.
