Description
We are the second owner of this vehicle from what we have been able to trace having bought it from a dealer at Manly Vale in Sydney in 1996. The vehicle was purchased for our eldest daughter and has subsequently been used by one other as well.
NOTE THE VEHICLE IS A 1993 MODEL NOT 1994 AS SHOWN IN THE EBAY DATA !!
The car has been one of the most reliable vehicles our family has ever owned, whilst regularly serviced, being driven by younger 18-23 year old kids, you will see from the photos the slight 'touch and park' damage to the front and rear bumper bars. As noted previously, at some point in time around 2000, the vehicle was hit in the Warringah Mall Carpark by an unknown driver and as a result the two left hand doors were replaced. They have been resprayed to the same colour as the rest of the car and it is really impossible to see the difference. The electric arial in stuck in the up position and I have not worried about getting this fixed as it is really just an aesthetic thing.
Interior wise, the trim is starting to show it age but not really badly. There is a crack has appeared in the last twelve months or so in the top of the dashboard above the dash mounting but due to its position I never really see it. There is a tear in the drivers carpet and some wearing on the drivers seat bench.
The better stuff however, mechanically the care runs really well. The engine was replaced at 163,000 kms as was the gearbox, the window tint is new in about 2011, the front and rear shocks were replaced in 2012. The brake Master Cylinder was also replaced in 2012. The CD Player was installed aftermarket in 2008 and the gas struts for the rear hatchback door were replaced in May, 2014.
The tyres have travelled about 2,000 km's only.
You will note from the photos the vehicle is currently registered as JMH800 but this registration will be removed from the vehicle and replaced with AI83BS which expires on the 26 July, 2014. A roadworthy certificate can be supplied with the vehicle.
As I said before, this is an excellent little vehicle for a starter or for a family that is looking for a cheap to run but reliable second car. We live North Shore of Sydney and I am happy for anyone who wishes to take the vehicle for a test drive (you must bring a photocopy of your current drivers license). I work at St Leonards and am also happy if anyone wishes to come to this area around lunchtime to also allow test drive time.
I have bought another car so this one must go asap. It is listed elsewhere so beware this auction could be cancelled at any time and I reserve the right to do so. I would prefer COD but will under the ebay terms, accept Paypal payment.
