This is a one-owner, 2003 Mercury Marauder with 17,000original miles. The stock 4.6 liter DOHC 4 valve per cylinder aluminum enginewas upgraded soon after purchase by Kenny Brown performance with a custom-tunedVortech SQ Supercharger with intercooler and custom calibration. The engine makes a documented 375 hp at therear wheels. The 3:55 rear axle waschanged to 4:10. Tires are PirellliP-Zero asymmetrical 235/50R18, 245/55/18. The stock sport touring suspension has a slightly lowered rideheight. High performance 14 inch slottedBaer brakes were added, with powder coated calipers.
The car has never been tested at the track, but a similarlytuned car was featured in the April 2003 Car and Driver, and went 0-60 in 4.5seconds and 13.1 in the quarter mile.
This car has all of the documentation since new, includingthe original invoice, maintenance records, correspondence, and of course theupgrades done by Kenny Brown Performance of Indianapolis, Indiana.
