MGB GT 1969 mk 2 classic sports car

Regretfully up for sale is my 1969 Mgb gt mk 2. Continuously registered since its purchase in 1969, it retains its original number plates. I have owned this car for over 20 years when I used this as my daily driver. However since 1997 it has been on blocks in my garage and only started and driven every year to keep it turning over. It is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but a beautiful car nonetheless. It has been resprayed at some point before my ownership and there are rust bubbles and dent to drivers side panel that needs attending to, but every part of this car can still be purchased new except of course the original registration!! Plus points include electronic ignition and two new pirellis fitted to front. Has original spare tyre (wire wheel) and tool kit.I have maintained this car to be driveable but brakes etc should all be checked over as the car has gone long periods of being on blocks. Furthermore as the car has been on blocks for over 17 years I gave up buying the two six volt batteries originally fitted every year due to the expense, I start the car with a standard 12 volt battery. The original 6 volt batteries are still available off the shelf from Century batteries, Although I don't know the complete history, I believe this car was originally first owned by the then wife of Alf Barbagello. The car has just had rego renewed for 12 months. No tyre kickers or dreamers , this car is 49 years old so it doesn't drive like a new Holden.
