This is a 1991 Nissan Figaro 1000cc Turbo
This concept car is one that was actually
produced .
Having tried to give the car a modern twist
on the old retro look with the modern matte colour ,
driving lights fitted into the front panel
but still keeping the Retro look.
The Figaro called "CEV (kev)" J117CEV
has had the underside
steam cleaned ,then re-under sealed and the underside repainted black
as in the photos.
The suspension lower arms have been replaced as
have the front brake discs/pads,new tie rods/track rod
ends,both rear wheel cylinders,shoes,flexi brake hoses and
metal brake pipes.
New chrome has been fitted as was available from Nissan,
all four hockey sticks,front bumper,O/S door handle and
bonnet emblem.
The engine has had new timing belt/tensioner,water pump
oil/filter,spark plugs,leads,cap,rotor arm and top hose.
It has had brand new Tyres fitted to the Retro looking wheels
along with driving lights fitted to the front panel.
The interior has been cleaned,the speedo has had the usual
mph face fitted,new Clarion radio speekers and all the interior lights,dash/radio/gearlever
bulbs have been changed to blue LEDS.
The outer body work was in good shape but the battleship
grey was not the colour I had in mind.
So it has had a 3m vinyl wrap in royal purple matte,the inside
door apertures have been done to match the body when doors
are opened to make it look more professional.
The car has done approx 145000 km/90000 miles and still sounds sweet.
The 3 speed auto gearbox performs as it should with no problems.
So if you are looking for a Figaro "CEV" could be the one for you
