This 2008 308 XSE has a problem but let me tell you the good bits first.
Leather seat in excellent condtition
Front seat warmers
Auto wipers
Climate control
Rear park sensors
Auto lights
Electric folding mirrors
Alloy wheels
Excellent body work with no accidents
Very clean
full service history.
new windscreen
new tyres
new brake pads
Plus more.
Now this car has had upwards of $6000 spent on it in say the last 18 months and I have all paperwork and reciepts and books for the car. It presents 9 out of 10 inside and out. BUT ! Houston we have a problem and that is a sticky valve on cylinder 2. which means that it will occasionally run on 3 cylinders and rough. So what does this mean I hear you say ?? Well about $1500 worth of work maybe or it could clear itself or you could run a magic fluid through it and it will be fine but although it can be driven it can run like crap at any given moment and you have to turn it off and restart it for it to reset and run ok again. The touch screen on the radio doesnt seem to be responding although can still do everything from control on steering wheel or buttons ( I do also have the original stereo as well ) and the wiper water squirter is faulty.
So I want a station wagon with a tow bar and I really can't be bothered messing with this car so I am going to sell it off cheap and the lucky buyer can maybe spend anywhere from $20 on a valve cleaner to $1500 on new valve and have a really nice car. Apart from the problem the car drives like a dream smooth tight and faultless and looks no different than the 2014 model for $36000 +. So yes its done high KMs at 168800 and yes it has a problem but for this price its crazy cheap and you could have a great safe european car for peanuts.
So just so we are clear Im selling this with no RWC, no reg, and no warranty. I have been totally honest about this car and am happy for anyone to come and have a look at it here in Point Lonsdale Victoria.
