Description

Original un-restored condition. Built in Canada, sold new in Brantford Ontario (home of Wayne Gretzky).Body: Original body panels. Was painted about 12 years ago. There may have been some bodywork done at that time, but the body shows straight with no rust or bubbling. Paint is in good condition, but not perfect. Some orange peel and the usual small chips, dings and scratches, but no major rust or damage. It appears that the passenger side inner fender was patched some time in the past.
Trunk: It may have been patched in the past, It's difficult to see because the trunk has been undercoated and the factory mat is in place.
Floor: It looks like there was floor work done in the past, but there are no apparent holes.
Frame: Looks solid with no issues
Trim: All trim pieces are there and in good condition for 50+ years old. There are the usual dings in a few places, but nothing major. Back bumper looks good, front bumper has a little rust around the bumper bolts.
Glass: All glass pieces are in good condition with no issues. It appears that all the glass is original except the windshield, it looks newer and is tinted.
Brakes: Power brakes are not currently working. The wheel cylinders were leaking and were taken apart and honed. New wheel cylinder rebuild kits and flex lines are in the trunk. Parking brake is in working condition.
Exhaust: Single exhaust is in good working condition.
Engine: Original V-8 engine (not sure what c.i.d. it is) runs good, smooth with no unusual noises and no leaks. Rad is good. Push Button auto trany works good, doesn't leak. There are new rad hoses in the trunk. Good Battery. Power steering works good. New ball joints have been installed.
Interior: all original condition. There is a rip in the front seat passenger side. The driver's side arm rest is ripped and the door panel is a little warped, but not too bad. Overall, the interior is good considering it's age and that it original. Headliner is ok, no carpet, just the original rubber matting. All the accessories seem to work except for the AM radio.
Tires: Bios-ply wide white walls have good tread, but are showing their age.
Title: Clear, clean Ontario registration with zero leans and is in "Pas-Fit" condition.
Overall: This is a nice original un restored example of a really cool late 50's cruser. It is not a show car, but with a little TLC could be a great driver.
