Description

Vehicle Original VIN : F8ZS2993
Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1954 Pontiac Chieftain 2-door Sedan Special! The war was over, WWII that is, and U.S. production had been under way for a few short years. In the late 40s Pontiac was looking to replace its aging Torpedo and that is where the Chieftain took over. Built off Pontiac's A-body platform the Chieftain was striking! In total the Chieftain would see 3 generations across its 12-year run. Here we have a '54 model, the last year of the first generation and rarely seen as far fewer Pontiacs were sold in 1954 with market demand shifting preferences. As you walk around this gorgeous example the white paint looks terrific and is by Rubber Seal Medallion. The red and white vinyl interior complements the exterior and the white wall tires completes the overall look. It simply is stunning. Under the hood is the believed original flathead 268ci Inline 8-cylinder engine. 1954 was the last year for these motors. [ omitted ]. The current owner has put a lot of work into creating this rolling icon. Rubber Seal Medallion White Paint, interior, New Chrome, many new engine parts, steering, brakes, and suspension was overhauled as well. The list is staggering and available upon request along with a fact sheet about this era Chieftain. An Instavin vehicle report shows a clean history and this Chieftain recently passed a vehicle safety inspection completed by the NSRA and passed with flying colors. The current owner has had her for over 6 years, acquired from a private owner in Kentucky. Car comes with 2 parts store books, and repair manual. The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! Whether you are an avid collector or looking to get your first vintage classic, this Chieftain will certainly make a fine addition and turn heads anywhere you go! Options on this Pontiac are: Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Hub Caps, and White Wall Tires. [ omitted ]. [ omitted ].
