Description
Being offered is an original PHS documented 1964 Pontiac
GTO, which has undergone a complete body-on restoration, including the
professional repair of any rust issues.
Trunk floor was replaced with new metal sections; lower rear quarters
were replaced with new metal sections.
Any rust issues around the front windshield or rear glass were repaired
with new meal, and sealed. Floor pans
showed no rust issues and are in their original solid condition.
The original 389 engine and 3 speed manual transmission were removed by previous owner and replaced with a 1966 Pontiac 421 Big Block and 4-speed Saginaw transmission. The engine has been completely professionally rebuilt. She runs a newly rebuilt Carter 4 Barrel carburetor.
After all body repairs were complete the GTO was primed and painted in its original color (code F), Yorktown Blue base coat and then clear coat. All chrome and stainless has been polished and replaced. All glass is in good condition with new molding all around.
Old School 15" Cragar rims were mounted, giving the bold stance.
The interior has newly upholstered seats, floor carpeting and headliner in the original Code F dark blue color. The original radio is installed, but has not been serviced or replaced, an option for the new owner.
This very desirable Classic starts, runs, shifts, and performs GREAT!
