1968 Porsche 911

Up for bid is a 1968 Porsche 911 L model. This car is one of 449 Karmann built short wheel base 911 L‘s. These cars were built to be imported into the United States market because they were not allowed to import the 911 S. The 911 L was the highest priced and most luxurious 911 that was available in 1968. The previous owner decided he was going to try and replicate a 1986 911 turbo.
This car comes with a Kardex card from Porsche. This is a numbers matching car. The Weber carburetors are also the correct carburetors for the car and are original to the car. This car also came equipped with Recaro sport seats double locker. This car is going to need quarter panels and front fenders due to the previous owners modifications. The motor does turn freely and the brakes work on the car as well. This is not a rusty car And deserves a full, proper restoration. All shipping arrangements need to be taken care of by the buyer.
