Description

Owned by a PCA Track Chairman, this car has been built to exacting standards; Safety; Full CASC roll cage, 5 point harnesses, Kirkey Racing Seats, Hawk HT-10 brake pads on new brake rotors, Red Line RL-600 brake fluid and 2 1/2 lb cage mounted fire extinguisher.
Engine; 5L, 32V, 4 Cam Porsche V8, Pro-Charger SuperCharger, Air to Air Intercooler, 42 lb Bosch fuel injectors with 044 Bosch Motorsports fuel pump, all only used one DE season.
Ignition; Upgraded Electromotive Tec-3 stand alone ignition with remote individual coils, Clewett Engineering ignition wires on Iridium spark plugs and wide band O2 sensor.
Cooling Upgrades; 3 radiators, Evans high temp (no water) coolant, 3rd bumper opening for increased air flow, Alu-Panel front splitter, Summit Racing high volume front mounted radiator fan.
Drive Line; Carbon/Kevlar clutch rated for 600 ft lbs of torque, 5 spd manual transmission with Limited Slip differential, 18" Complete Custom alloy wheels, Pirelli P-Zero slicks; 275/45/18 front, 305/45/18 rear. Full coilover suspension with 950 lb springs front and 600 lb springs rear over custom valved Bilstein shocks.
Body; All original 1987 panels (no incidents but with some stone chips on the nose), removable steering wheel, Vitaloni ultra-lite cone mirrors, Lexan rear hatch window & side transport blanks, dual element Carbon Fiber rear wing.
Other; Dual 3" SS exhaust with X-pipe, dual Race Catch Can oil separator/breathers, 2 SuperCharger pressure relief valves (one vacuum, one spring backup), lightweight alternator.
Results; Car lightened to under 3,000 lbs, 500 hp with 485 ft lbs of torque @ only 9 lbs of boost. It goes like a Rocket and sounds like Thunder.
Reason for Sale; I'm stripping and TurboCharging my Cayman this winter and have no place to keep this one.
