Description

i have a slicktop euro 1980 930 in color code 463 - casablanca beige metallic. all original paint. vin # 93A0070253
Singer has done two cars in this same color and apparently it is very rare
car is all original minus the wheels. they are bbs's with new toyo proxes from late 2014 which have never been driven on.
the car was stored for many years. can't say exactly how long but at least 15-20 years.
odometer reads 79k miles. story i was told by p.o. of many years is thatit actually only has about 20k. when the car was imported they slappedwhatever speedo they had on hand in mph just to know their speed. thisis what i was told. whether this is true or not is up for debate. thecar doesn't show much wear other than storage dings and apparently somemoisture got inside the windshield seal which caused the dash to go badand the glass to delaminate at the bottom.
body - all gaps are perfect and original. paint is all original and with abuff would actually look pretty nice. there are however some rustbubbles here and there. nothing major though. the entire underside ofthe car is solid so that is definitely a plus. the turbo spoiler hassome paint chipping although the rubber is soft as new. some geniusdecided to put some sort of antenna on the front part of the roof sothat would have to be removed and addressed.
interior - in good shape. does not show much wear other than the dash.the seats (front and rear) are two tone. it looks factory but can't sayfor sure. never seen one like it but maybe it was a special order.
engine - type 930/60. these are good for a conservative 300hp+ in stockform. serial number is hard to see though (disclose disclose discloseLOL). it turns over nice and smooth by hand. it is missing the airfilter box but i do have the intercooler. i was advised not to try tocrank it (hard to fight the urge lol) but i figured it's better leftalone until someone can go through it and make sure it's good to go.
This is a very good restoration project. and you will have a very rarecolor 930 once it's done. and you know how it goes: rare = $$
Car is located in Hollywood, FL and I encourage personal inspections.
