1988 Rover Mini 4 speed automatic

This is my partners 1988 Rover Mini. She's been the proud owner since late 2009. She was the 1st owner of this car in Australia. It is a Japanese built (under licence by Rover) car and was purchased through a car dealer in Queensland the car was fully complied to our ADR's in Queensland. It has only been driven on weekends since she brought it but was put on club registration a little over a year ago and has only seen the road once a month or so since. The car now has 58,900 klms on the clock. It was purchased with only 49,141 klms. Just onder 10,000 klms in 7 years. Sadly its time to pass this little gem on to someone who will love it as much as she has. Only reason being that we are both starting to save for a house deposit and the limited use it has seen recently. It features loads of sensible upgrades- Coil springs
- Recent brake and suspension overhaul
- Electronic ignition
- Electronic fuel pump
- Dual carburetor's
- Headers back sports exhaust ending with a centrally mounted stainless muffler
The seat covers are able to be removed which will reveal the lovely original trim underneath as i'm sure as it is, it wont suit everyone's taste. The paint is in great condition other than a dent in the roof caused by vandals recently and a small buckle in the bonnet, I'm assuming was caused by someone forgetting to lower the support before closing it. Not very noticeable at all. Overall it is a very nice car to drive around in. The auto gear box dosn't let it down too much. It has been serviced by myself on time every time. Usually every 2,500 to 3,000 klms. All major work has been carried out by a mini specialist with receipts too prove.
