I Have My Holden Berlina V8 Car Up For Sale
This Car Is In VGC, It Has Been looked After Really Well I Brought It Of An Old Man In Horsham About Two Years ago.
Im Selling It Because The Missus Wants a Ford Territory of All Things. Seems we're Having our third Child In The Next Couple Of Weeks I Best Get On to Selling This car.
Now Everyone Knows Once Your Car Gets to A Certain Point Things start Going Wrong With The Car. i Have Avoided This With Purchasing All New Parts For The Car Before it Started.
I Did This Because Once One Thing goes Its Like A Snowball Effect With The Rest.
So What I did And All The Part Were Fitted By Our local Mechanic Here In Donald Victoria Were
1. I Bought 5 Brand New Tyres For The Car $550
2. I Purchased A New R&J Battery From Horsham $100
3. I Bought a New Holden Key With Reprograming From Batches in Horsham $85
4. I Purchased New Suspension Springs ( Standard King Springs) From Bursons In Horsham . I Did Not Want to Lower The Car because The Roads Around The Country Are Crap And If i Lowered The Car It Would Decrease The Lifespan Of Our tires.
5. I Thought Why I was Getting New Springs Ill May As well Do The Rest So:
6. i Bought New Gt Struts
7. I Purchased A whole White-Line Bush Rubber Kit For The I.R.S (Independent Rear Suspension)
8. I Bought A New Camber And Toe Kit Because the inside of the tyres were wearing down to quick ( Once They were installed this i had them corrected by the mechanic ) But ill Go On About That in A Minute.
9. I Then Purchased New Disk Brake Pads For The Front ( the Back Ones Were Fine i Was Told )
10. I Then Started On The Motor . Nothing Was Wrong With It but i Thought May As Well Before Something Goes Wrong .
11. i Bought A New Oil Filter
12. New Spark Plugs
13. All The Leads Were Fine.
14. i Purchased A Brand New Fuel Pump Here In Donald. IT Never Had A Problem With It But I Didn't Know How Long Ago It Was Installed In The Car. So I Changed It Over. So Out With The Old In With The New.
15. There Was An Oil Leak Out But i Bought A New Rocker Cover Gasket Kit and Had It Fixed. So No Oil Leaks.
Bit Of Description On Motor Running
304,000km odometer reading Today.
No Knocks- No Clunks- No Bangs No Holes In Muffler. The Car Sound And Runs As A V8 Should.
Takes About $85 to Fill It. And By Digital Reading Distance to empty is 700 km so Its About $11-$12 to every 100 km give or take
Now Down To the Things Wrong With The Car Still And Its Not Much
There's only Two Things Wrong With the Car
It Does Need A New Indicator Stalk Which Can Be Purchased on Ebay. The Lowest price I Found Was $23.50 With Free Postage. The Indicators Still Work But High Beam Stays On When Light Are Engaged. No LOW BEAMS.
And
Rear Left Window Switch to Wind Down The Window Which IS About $11.95 On Ebay Free Postage.
This IS All Thats Wrong With the Car.
Now I Had to Have A Separate Mechanic Come Out And Have A look At The Electrical Side OF the Car About A Month Ago. The Red Abs Light Come On And I Did Not Know Why. The Car Has Never Been Crashed.
i Thought It Might Of Been something With the Safty Seat Belt Pretensioner. So I got Him To Come Out and HE Hooked Up A tech 2 And found that it was the Yellow connection Under The seat. He Said Sometimes
The Connection Gets Moisture in it and temporarily Shorts it out and registers on the cars computer.
He went on to check all the sensors and all the electrical side of it and all Was Fine No Error Codes No Faults. So That Was Good.
So In Conclusion
the Car Is Pretty Much In Perfect Condition Except Side Of the Little Details i've stated.
If Its Anywhere Near By i Can Meet Half Way.
