We have owned this car since April 2013 & has served us very well indeed, Its been mostly motorway milage During the time we have owned it its had the benefit of a full Warranty which is still in force until 21st July 2014 ( This can be extended until April 2015 at a cost of £350.00 if you require it)
These cars have a very good Mercedes 2.7 Diesel Engine & Gearbox. We where advised by the main dealer to have it serviced in line with the manufacture recommendation which we have done & we where also told to have an oil & filter change at least every six months as Mercedes engines don't like running on dirty oil, & we would also get better fuel economy.
I have to say we have done both & the car regularly returns 40mpg !!! Fantastic for such a big 7 seat MPV.
WORK CARRIED OUT UNDER WARRANTY:
In September 2013 we had a Glow plug fail so the warranty company replaced all 5 glow plugs at the main dealer.
November 2013 The only one remote fob we had for the car failed so A complete new alarm & fob & keys for the car was replaced at a cost of over £1000 New Locks & Ignition key & new door locks.
So the car now has 2 sets of keys & alarm fobs Genuine Ssangyong brand new.
When we purchased the car it had a few ding & stone chips & around one handle was a bit scabby they have not got any worse & to be honest the overall condition of the paint work did not concern us at all we where more interested in the mechanical condition & its history ( which is why we looked at about 15 cars before we purchased )
It has very good tread depth on both front tyres (new in April 2013) But the back two have about 3-4000 miles left on them (so we are told by the tyre company)

You can as the new owner continue with the Warranty if that something you would want at a cost of £350.00!! (We opted for all components cover Plus MOT Failure & cover for airbags Emissions & wear & tear cover also!!)
We have lots of receipts & previous MOT & Documents for the car that the new owner is welcome to have!!
