Here I have for sale my 2005 face lifted Subaru Forester STI SG9 Japanese import in WR Blue with around 75k miles on the clock (120k kms). The speedo is still currently reading in KMH and I've never wanted/needed to convert it, however wouldn't be too hard to do if the new owner wanted to.
I purchased this car in August 2015 from Jap Performance Parts in Crawley, who serviced the car with all HKS service items including plugs, oils and filters.
The Forester STI comes as standard with 2.5L turbocharged engine, 6 speed gearbox, black alcantara STI sports seats, climate control, Brembo brakes, heated front wipers and xenon headlights.
Modifications included are a set of BC Racing RM series Type MH coilover suspension, these are the more expensive (£950) inverted shock type with 30 way damping adjustment, camber adjustable front and pillow ball top mounts, these have only been on the car for the last 4 months. A Cusco front strut brace, Cusco Front ARB, Cusco Rear ARB, Whiteline adj. rear drop links, ZeroSports stainless steel back box (not too loud) and set of 18" alloy wheels which were on the car when it came in from Japan.
A Japanese double din DVD/CD player is fitted and has working Bluetooth connectivity, although the menu is in Japanese.
Included in the sale is the original set of Forester STI suspension with RS-R lowering springs.
Tax is only £230 a year (unlike many other 2.5L Subarus) and the MOT is valid until June 4th this year.
The car is in a good overall condition reflecting it's age and mileage well with no excessive wear, rips or burns to the interior. The original rubberized black centre console trim is prone to melting however I have had this refinished in matt black.
There are the usual minor parking dings and odd surface scratch along the sides of the car, and some marks on the front corners of the bumper. If the full asking price is met, the car will come with a new set of 4 tyres.
I have used this car since ownership daily, and love every minute of it. I'm not in a rush to sell, so only sensible offers/buyers need apply.
