1967 Toyota Land Cruiser

This 1967 FJ45 Long Bed, VIN FJ45-27096, Engine #: F 227450, was stored in a barn here in Northern California since the late 1980s. The odometer shows 82,647 miles, I’m not sure if it’s the actual mileage or not.The older gentleman who owned it before me wasn’t able to provide much information about the truck due to health problems. His wife told me that it ran fine when he parked it.She mentioned that he’d often drive it to a ranch in Hollister, CA to go deer hunting.I don’t know anything else about the history of the truck unfortunately.
I had the truck flat bedded to my property and haven’t had any time to work on it at all. I’ve never attempted to start it.It rolls around in neutral just fine and the emergency brake seems to be working, the brake pedal goes to the floor however. Steering seems to be working.All glass is in good condition and the side windows roll up and down.Floors still seem solid though the roof has rusted through in the forward two corners. All other body panels and also the frame seem to be solid.There is no VIN plate on the firewall.There are no signs of one missing though, no rivet holes, glue residue, faded paint or anything at all.It appears as if there never was one.The VIN however, as you can see in the pictures, is also stamped on the frame.
I have the title in hand. The truck comes with the spare parts and the books and owner’s manual shown in the pictures.
