Up for sale is my much beloved 1981 Toyota FJ40.
As you can see this car is far from standard but dont let that deter you as it has been modified with the utmost care and the price asked is an absolute bargain.
Car details:
1981 Toyota FJ40,
4.2ltr running on straight gas. (very strong motor, has never missed a beat)
Split transfer case with crawler transfer gears ($1500)
4 speed manual for ultimate downhill descents
FJ40 diffs with Dirty 30's front axles. CV's and chromo gears, ARP studs front and back ($1500)
ARB air lockers front and back including on board permanent ARB CKMA12 air compressor for lockers and tyres ($3400)
40" Sticky Maxxis Trepadore tyres fitted onto externally beadlocked rims ($5000)
Spring over conversion engineered
Mojo high steer arm engineered
Overkill Engineering roll cage, the more you look the more detail you will find ($4000) rollcage made to meet tuff truck/CCDA entry specs.
Flat paneled dash and new switches installed for all equipment
Replica recaro racing seats and Sabelt racing harnesses
You will not be dissapointed, car starts first time everytime with no issues and is a pleasure to drive and enjoy.
