Bad points

- Slight hesitation on initial build upto boost (Believed to be vacuum pipe)

- Small surface rust bubbles on drivers side sill (totally solid, just needs sanding down and painting)
- No paperwork as the previous owner never received it
This car was written off in 2011 (CAT C) as it suffered from some light damage to the rear passenger quarter. The damage was purely cosmetic with no impact on the suspension or other mechanical components. It handles as an MR2 Turbo should. The extent of panel damage is clearly visible in person but I’ve tried showing it in the photos.
The car was stood for 4years after it was written off as the previous owner ended up buying a new car. It was then sold on to a friend who put some time and money getting it roadworthy again last November. His plan was to tidy up the bodywork again and drive it as a weekend car however due to buying a MK1 Ford Escort project he decided to sell up this MR2.
Engine is quiet even from cold, turbo boosts hard throughout the rev range, gearbox is tight and smooth in gears with no crunches or whines and the clutch bites strong.
My brother bought this recently to drive during his holidays this coming summer. He was planning to tidy up the bodywork, give the MR2 a fresh service and add some few upgrades to take it to 300bhp. However yesterday he bought himself another Toyota that has the legendary 2JZ-GTE engine, so the MR2 has to go.
Taking in to consideration the modifications and the current market value of a MR2 Rev 3 Turbo, I believe I have priced the car fairly. The Tein coilovers, Berk exhaust and Enkei wheels are worth around £1,000 alone if I were to take them off and sell them separately. A Rev 3 turbo engine conversion is worth between £1,200-1,500 so I believe my asking price for a fully running Rev 3 turbo is realistic.
