Description

1956 Triumph TR3. Narrow Mouth! If ever a car deserved to be called a 'soul survivor' this is it. With a touch over 60k miles on her she still starts up and idles like a champ. Shifts nicely, synchros are working, and comes to a stop. All the gauges work from the gas gauge to the temperature, spedo and tach. She is frequently driven around town on weekend mornings, and has even made a few highway appearances. That being said she needs a new owner that can get her through the next 65 years! There are numerous dings, dents, incidents and allegations on the body, although the only major issue is the rear left side. Frame is solid, but could use a new spray. Wiring colors are faded.
This is a 65 year old British car with Lucas components - many of them original. Let that sink in before you bid, please!
PLEASE NOTE: The full size windshield frame you see in some of the pictures was dented, and the glass broken a while back. We felt it was just a good excuse to switch to the brooklands screens that you see on the drivers side. The old frame, as well as a brand new windshield frame is included. The car is driving on a set of balanced wire wheels with Michelin tires. A set of 4 steel wheels with shiny hubcaps and dunlop tires is also included., along with more spare parts I can count. Convertible roof frame, hard top, new cylinders and pads also tonneau top. Valid California registration
