Description

For sale i have my 1.4 VW Golf S which i have had for over 4 years. I bought this when i was 19yrs old, i needed a small engine to get insured on but something that would look awesome at the same time. The V5 says it has 6 previous owners but really it has had 5 previous owners as the previous owner was my older brother and it was registered under the same address etc.
Anyways as the pics show this little 1.4 Golf is replicated to look like a GTI but took it a step further with adding a OETTINGER bodykit. Oettinger is a specialist VAG company who specialise in tuning and styling for the VAG range. If you go on their website, it will give you an idea of how expensive these kits are. I have tried my best to keep this car to its highest standard.
Basic info of the car can be found on "ITEM SPECIFICS".
Cars currently on 92000 miles, Tax runs out at the end of July, Mot runs out Feb 2015 and has had no advisories, although the MOT was done in Febuary, the car has only done a few hundred miles at most.
The car was serviced less than 100 miles ago as i do service the vehicle every 5000 miles. This inc Catrol Edge oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter and spark plugs.
New brake discs and pads was fitted less then 50 miles ago, the new buyer will still need to drive another few hundred miles to bed them in.
New drivers side window regulator as this are a common VW problem.
The car does not come with FSH. only unto 50k, this is because i am a car enthusiast and i have always done the service myself. I never kept any sort of paperwork as i always thought to myself il always keep this car until it dies on me, but unfortunately i changed my mind about keeping it, this is due to me doing 400 miles a week, and driving a manual car in London can be frustrating, which is why i have bought myself an automatic car and this car has to go.
I honestly have done a service every 5000 miles and if the winning bidder wants, i can even do a service once again in front of the winning bidder which will only take 30/45 mins.
When i first bought the car, i did the biggest service you could possibly imagine, that inc flushing all old fluid inc Brake, gearbox and coolant along with the usual oil. I also fitted brand new brakes all round inc braided hoses.
Previous work done to the car
Coilpack in 2012
Cambelt changed in 2011 on 50k
Exhaust midpipe and CAT in DEC 2012
Reconditioned Gearbox and New Clutch in 2012 on 81k
NSF CV joint in Jan 2013 on 86k
Thats all the paperwork i have to be honest as i never kept any paperwork and this is all i managed to find.
I have always done anything that the car needed doing and in result the car drives faultlessly.
Now il mention the little extras on this car
Full Genuine OETTINGER bodykit inc
Front Bumper
Rear Bumper
Rear Spoiler
Side Skirts
Oettinger Exhaust
18" GTI Monza Alloys with tyres with plenty of thread
HID 6000w Headlights
LED Side light and Rear Number plate light
Subwoofer and AMP wiring so can connect your own one if you have one.
VW head unit with SAT NAV along with iPod connectivity (iPod lead missing) can be bought from IN CAR MUSIC in Leytonstone for £10
Lowered on eibach springs
Now the bad bits (this does not effect the way the car drives and car drives perfectly without these imperfection)
Some paint has peeled of from under the rear number plate as shown in the pic, i believe this has happened when parked up and someone has hit the back while trying to drive out or park.
Drivers plastic door handle has a cracked. Not an expensive repair
Passangers side wing has been scraped also shown in pics, this again i believe to have happened while parked up and someone trying to drive out or park.
Recently the engine management light has come on but goes off. While the light was on, i had it checked by a Vag specialist garage and it came up as 02 sensors so both sensors may need changing, these cost around £80/£100 pounds.
The airbag light is on due to new interior seats, before i had leather seats but these weighed a ton and leather was in very bad condition so changed them with clothe interior but the wires to connect them are to short so airbag light is on.
Bonnet closes in a very weird way but close fine.
The front bumper can do with some work which iv been quoted £300 from custom places, i could've gone out and stuck another bumper but these bumpers cost thousands and are very rare in the UK, check out the website.
Thats everything you need to know about the car. It has its little imperfections but drives faultlessly.
Is in good condition for its age.
i recommend viewing as you will not be disappointed.
i have been as honest as possible and appreciate it if no-one wastes my time. you bid to buy not to view, seen as sold. so please don't waste my time and bid and thn don't buy,
