Description
for sale our one family golf.
was my aunts then went to my uncle and finally to me.
the car has been very reliable
we have kept it in the best of condition
regularly serviced at a local garage.
it has never let us down at any time.
being the se model it has many optional extras
centre armrest, aircon, powerstering ect
the 1.6 16v engine is strong and does not produce any smoke or given any trouble.
the car has been stored in my unit the last month
as I now have a van and I did not want to use the car like a van its too nice.
it has had a new lambder sensor as the local garage said it needed one
the mot runs out the end of the month but it is booked in for a fresh mot.
there are one or two problems that you need to be aware of before buying a car of this age
I have never got it to do 99 mpg
the rear drivers side door is locked
it was that way since my aunt had it and none of us have been brave enough to force it open.
the comfort module is sending one fault code which is traced to that same locked door.
I have another module to fit but have not got round to it.
its grey and is as standard as the day it left the vw factory.
no lowering
no bodykits
no insane exhaust.
if you are looking for a low mileage this may be the one for you
