VW Kombi Split SceenCamper, 1958, LHD

VW Split Screen Kombi, 1958, LHD Another vehicle to go! I have had the Kombi for a few years that was imported from the US. I have the import papers and have done most of the welding/metal work. The front nose still needs finishing along with some patches on the passenger door (RHS). Metal replaced includes cargo sills on both sides and relevant floor sections, cab floor quarters, battery tray and RHS rear corner, a couple of out riggers and jack supports and bottom of cargo doors. Front beams has been stripped and painted as with both front wheel arches. It has a 1600 engine which ran before I pulled everything off it. Most items are with the bus. A couple of cracked glass. Pop outs are there, plus a couple of new replacements as I was going to put in an extra 2. Bench seats will need replacing as these were too far gone for restoration. Tail lights are aftermarket 100mm, so not original. So the holes are larger and may need reworking to original if that’s what you want. It’s a good project to finish off. Most of the hard work has been done. The start price is what I will let it go for, so no offers or buy it now – so don’t ask!!!! Auction will run its course. I have some spares available to that can be offered to the winning bidder including a new roof rack and new safaris. See my other listings for other VW parts. Payment needs to be received and cleared prior to collection. Buyer to pay any fees, ie PayPal, and arrange all transport. Obviously a trailer will be required.
