The interior does come up very well and the exterior has a number of age / mileage related marks.
Welcome to sale of my 2007 VW Phaeton 3.0 V6 TDi. If you have never driven one of these you are in for a treat. It is the most comfortable and refined car I have ever owned, and I have owned all of the major exec brands over the past few years. I have completed 12 hour journeys back across Europe through snow and arrived still feeling refreshed. It has many features a lot of cars would have as extras and just the best 4 zone climate control.
The car is fitted with a factory fit Westfalia removable tow bar with 13 pin electrics. It has towed our family Elddis Superstorm twin axled caravan (a very large caravan) to and from a number of festivals around the UK and is the best vehicle I have ever had for the job. Saying something when we have previously used a Nissan Patrol, Mitsubishi Delica and Shogun, Audi A6 Allroad and a Discovery 2.
2 sets of keys are present.
The car is fitted currently fitted with 17" VW Imagine (in excellent condition) wheels with a set of 4 Goodyear Ultra Grip winters tyres - all with good tread. The 19" Helios wheels are fitted with 3 Pirelli P0 and 1 Nexan fitted when I had an emergency after 2 punctures in one day. One wheel has had a crack repaired but again all with good tread. Either set of wheels can supplied with the car with the second set available at extra cost. There is also a full size spare currently fitted with a standard tyre.
The car has a full service history - mainly with VW but some tasks such as oil, brake pads and fluids have been undertaken by my local garage.
I have owned the car for the 18 months and am only selling as I have taken redundancy from my office job, which required to me to travel the country, to undertake a building project to which this car is clearly not suited.
