Description
This car drives fine, engine is in great condition,a good service history with cambelt change, and only 85K miles. The wheels on this car are GENUINE BBS alloys, in great condition.
I am selling my current car due to needing money for travelling in August; the car has just ran out of tax and MOT.
There are a few downsides, but not major problems:
The airbag light is displayed on the dashboard due to a faulty sensor under the front passenger seat. I have been quoted around £175 for this sensor from a Volkswagen dealership but could perhaps be found cheaper elsewhere.
The power steering light also sometimes displays briefly, due to a faulty earth wire cable to it, which would not cost much to replace.
The car is low and does tend to scrape the wheel arches if too many people in the car; you can see the paint has slightly come away from part of the arch where the tyre has rubbed against it. I have also been quoted £150 to get both rear arches back to original condition. It has not bothered me too much and therefore never got it done in the time I have had the car. The front arches are perfectly fine and the car can also be raised easily with the coilovers that it is sitting on at the moment. Personally, I have not considered raising it as I enjoy the look and stance of the car how it is.
The car comes with a fairly standard headunit with CD player and aux and ungraded front speakers.
The interior is standard and in great condition; no stains on seats.
Paintwork is in immaculate condition (bar the little scrapes on rear arches) with no stand-out stone chips or anything. When washed with autoglym and polished properly this car really does stand out from the crowd! This car gets attention wherever it goes and has previously been to many VW events in the past getting a lot of likes and comments.
