For sale our Alfa Romeo 147 in a nice shiny black.
This vehicle was first registered 26/09/2003.
My daughter acquired the car in June 2012. She used it daily for her work as a community nurse until she left on a 12 month world tour in March. The car has only been lightly used since then and Daddy has been left to sort it out for her and send the money to the other side of the world.
The car is the 8 Valve 1.9 TD engine. It has a 5 speed manual gearbox, ABS and power steering.
I have 2 keys, which are both remotes, the owner handbook and the registration document.
It has just had six months tax put on it to the end of January 2015.
Computer says its doing between 40mpg to 50 mpg depending on how you drive it.
It is quite a nice handling car to drive and shifts along swiftly.
Bodywork
As you can see it is a 3 door hatchback, and has front wheel drive.
The body work is in good overall condition for the year of the car. There are the odd scuffs and dings you get with an 11 year old car. There are a few stone chips that have been retouched.
The wheels are original Alfa alloys with some slight scuffs but nothing beyond slight cosmetics.
A set of locking wheel nuts is fitted with a key for them.
Interior
The car has black/grey cloth seats which have no tears, rips or noticeable stains.
It is a 5 seater. The front seats flip forward to give access to the rear.
Carpets are good and clean.
Dashboard and all plastic fittings work and are in excellent condition. All controls work as they should.
The car has passenger and driver airbags, and airbags on the A-pillar. The passenger airbag can be switched off for kiddie car seats.
Has cruise control, all works fine.
Has alarm.
Has ASR traction control.
Has air conditioning which works fine.
Has a dash board computer which gives range, mpg, speed limit warnings etc.
In fact everything is computer linked, even tells you when a bulb is gone.
The car has an original Alfa radio/CD player which is linked into the steering wheel controls and dash display. All works fine.
The boot has remote opening from the key fob and is clean and watertight with a parcel shelf.
Has a battery isolator switch.
It has a space saver spare wheel, jack and Alfa tool kit, under the boot floor.
Mechanical Bits
The car was MOT’d 02/05/2014 so it has a MOT until 01/05/2015. It was MOT’d at 93,686 miles and is currently showing 94,003.
I have the previous 2 MOTs before this.
The car was serviced June 2012 when I purchased it. Changed oil, oil filter and fuel filter. This was at mileage approx. 78,500. I also replaced the crankshaft sensor at the same time.
October 2012, I replaced all the glow plugs, starts first time all weathers.
Jan 2013, I replaced the auxiliary drive belt and the idler alignment pulley that goes with it.
April 2013, I replaced all the hand brake cables.
May 2013, replaced the cam belt, tensioner and water pump, mileage 85,500. It was also serviced with oil and filters again.
April 2014, I serviced the car again with oil, fuel and air filters, changed the oil as well. At the same time I put new rubber bushes on the Anti-roll bar and new drop links on the front suspension.
Receipts for all the parts above.
There are no oil leaks under the car.
Overall a nice little car, would suit commuting.
Re-advertised due to previous buyer never bothering to turn up to view car.
Asking price reduced from £1745-00 to £1600-00 do come and have a look. Cash on collection is preferred.
