Alfa Romeo 166 3.2 TI

Welcome to the auction of my amazing Alfa Romeo 166 3.2 Ti. This vehicle comes with a great history file and has been meticulously maintained over the years, cam belt kit and full service very recently so no need to worry there, it has been garaged for the past 18 months due to illness but now its all polished up and ready to go.
Bad Bits :
There is the odd imperfection like stone chip and tiny dents but nothing drastic.
At 66086 miles it had an alternator problem, when it was replaced they reactivated the ICS unit and the speedo went to zero, this was on the 30/8/2011 at Black and White in Berkshire (01635 200 444) they carried out the work and it is fully documented with invoice to prove, the speedo is currently reading just over 27000 miles, so just add 66086 to the current reading and that gives you the actual mileage.
The exhaust is blowing slightly in the centre and it probably will need changing.
The clutch feels heavy but I am told that it is a characteristic of this model as it has a similar clutch system to a Ferrari which is a pull system. I tried pressing the clutch on a similar model at a recent Alfa show and that one was heavier than mine but the chap said it was normal.
Rear parcel shelf lid discoloured.
Good Bits :
The beautiful Ti wheels have been totally refurbished and powder coated so they actually look like new ones, all four wheels have been laser aligned at F1 and they also have good tyres all round, it has 2 fully functional key fobs and has a full service history up to August 2015. It has had no damage and is straight as a die underneath and on the body.
Being the 3.2 the engine this is the last of the best Busso powered Alfa's ever made and it runs like a dream.

Hand brake is very good with new cable fitted
I am selling to finance, (yes you guessed it) yet another Alfa, and just to finish off you might see the odd 166 3.2 but you will very rarely see a genuine 166 3.2 Ti Lusso which is what makes this car very desirable.
I would love this car to go to a proper Alfa enthusiast but at the end of the day its who comes up with the readies first, so good luck if your bidding and thanks for looking.
