Alfa Romeo GTV Cup Kit 3L V6
In SA, It has been defected in South Australia only for height (all fixed with stock springs) comes with eibach suspension. I reside in Queensland and was going to transport it up there and simply register and drive it (I check with QLD transport etc and all fine) but just been in storage and never did anything was about to take it over the pits but battery is flat and it has been in storage for about 5 years now so probably needs all fluids flushed, new battery etc and I am not mechanically minded one single bit!
Just before it got defected I spent about 8k on this car with major service with belts etc then drove it about 100 - 200km and got pulled over by a bored cop Even more money has been spent on other parts all listed below:

New Q2 Diff
Powerflex bushes in rear
Remus exhaust system
BMC CDA Carbon fiber air intake
New brake lines
New CV joints
New Pulleys, water pump, Tensioners and timing belt.
Rebuilt gearbox
18" wheels
Factory sunroof
Tinted windows
Momo pedals and gear knob
Momo red leather interior
Eibach springs come with the car but sits on stock springs.
Did have a massive sound system but I have taken that out now, will leave speakers, 6" Alpine type R splits etc but full boot instal has been taken out.
So much has been done to this car it was in show car condition before the defect and went over seas to live so never got it fixed, been in storage at my parents house.
To get back running:
- 1x front engine mount is a bit worn, I have a brand new one sitting in the boot, this was bought up to get defect off.
- Quick service. My dad statrted it up every month or so for the first few years, then the battery kept dying so 1x Battery also.
- I would recommend some new brake pads, probably tyres too as been sitting there for years
and that should be it!
Other info:
- Steering wheel is worn on the top, I was going to get this repaired before it got defected $200 I was quoted
- Drivers seat is worn where the seatbelt area, I think that was a few hundred to fix also, but I never did as at the time I was desperately checking ebay for a direct replacment, then the cop ruined my xmas
- scratch on the rear right 1/4 panel, dropped a sheet of gyprock on it while in storage.
If these easy things are done, this car is amazing with only 120,000km. Prior to that diff was upgraded to Q2, full major service was done with belts all pulleys and tensioners, I think just the service alone was about $2,500 + some leak on the rocker cover that was fixed and the Q2 Diff and diff casing was about $3,000.
Anyway, Low Kms for car, so much extras! Prior to defect this was going to be my show car. I spent so much money making it look so nice and fixed, replaced, upgraded so many things using genuine Zender, Alfa and Momo parts (except wheels). If I fix this I will probably fall in love with it again or try sell for $13,000. If fixed this is a 1 of a kind with all engine work professionally done and body work all done by mechanics that work with Ferrari's Maserati's and Alfas etc. Before I lost interest not a dollar was spared on this car!
